Application Area
Filter cartridges are widely used in filtration industries such as oil filtration, air filtration, and water filtration, especially in industrial production, water treatment, air purification, and other fields. Filter cartridges play a very important role.
Material and Type
There are various materials for filter cartridges, including paper, synthetic fibers (such as glass fiber, metal fiber sintered felt, polypropylene fiber, polyester fiber), stainless steel mesh, metal, activated carbon, etc. The types of filters also vary depending on the material and purpose, such as air filters, PP filters, wire wound filters, foldable microporous filters, activated carbon filters, etc.
Filtering Effect and Accuracy
The filtration effect of the filter element depends on its pore size and filtration accuracy. Common filtration accuracies include micron, submicron, nanometer, and other levels. Micro-level filters can filter out particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 microns, sub-micron-level filters can filter out particles with a diameter between 0.1 microns and 30 microns, and nanometer-level filters can filter out particles with a diameter between 0.1 nanometers and 0.3 nanometers.
Working Principle
The working principle of the filter element is based on the principle of physical filtration, which filters out impurities and particles in the fluid through the pore size and structural shape of the filter material. Taking water filtration as an example, water enters the interior of the filter element from the inlet, passes through the filtering effect of the filter material, removes impurities and particles from the water, and then is discharged from the outlet.
