Basic Overview
Plate and frame filter cloth is a type of filter cloth specially designed for industries such as sandwashing wastewater, chemical wastewater, pharmaceutical wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, food wastewater, petroleum wastewater, starch wastewater, ceramic wastewater, environmental protection wastewater, coal wastewater, etc. It is easy to operate, convenient and durable and can be disassembled and used freely.

Material and Type
● Material: The material of the frame filter cloth is mainly divided into polypropylene and polyester. Among them, polypropylene has the characteristics of high-temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and wear resistance, while polyester has good insulation and stable water permeability.
● Type: Plate frame filter cloth is also divided into ordinary plate frame and high-energy plate frame. High energy plate frame filter cloth is made by adding sulfurization process on the basis of ordinary plate frame, which has better sealing and wear resistance, and is suitable for copper concentrate, nickel concentrate, gold mine tailings, sludge dewatering and other occasions.

Selection and Specifications
● Selection: The selection of filter cloth has a significant impact on filtration efficiency and speed. When selecting, comprehensive consideration should be given to the properties and particle size of the sludge, taking into account the permeability (permeability or air permeability), filtration grade (filter cloth size, pore size and porosity), service life (tensile strength and elongation), filter cloth structure and weaving method, chemical function and cost of the filter cloth.
● Specifications: The filter cloth of the plate and frame filter press has various specifications and models, such as NYB-500 to NYB-1600, with sizes ranging from 500 × 500mm to 1600 × 1600mm. The materials include polyester, nylon, etc., and the mesh range is between 25-200 mesh.
